Description

Night
And the spirit of life calling
Mamela
And a voice
With the fear of a child asking
Mamela

Wait
There's no mountain too great
Hear these words and have faith
Have faith

They live in you
They live in me
They're watching over
Everything we see
In every creature
In every star
In your reflection
They live in you

(They Live in You) Disney's The Lion King on Broadway

I wanted to draw this scene out of warriors in like forever in The Darkest Hour. This is probably my fave scene in the book, besides Stonefur's last stand. I know many people on here have drew this scene, but I wanted to be unique with it. Was greatly influenced by Mizu-no-Akira pic "Here Me Roar" of this exact scene. And a little bit from Disney's Lion King scene where Simba sees his father's reflection in the pool. I know in the book the description had a roaring lion, but to be orginal, i decided not to go that way, and drew Mufasa staring back at Firestar. Yes I choose Mufasa for a reason and  not because it was from the reflecting scene before he comes down to speak to Simba in the animated film, but because of how wise Mufasa is, and how myjestic he is. Plus in the books, LionClan is an anicate Clan. So why not have a Mufasa figure as the leader of LionClan. One leader to another.

This is my first time creating a reflective pool in water, not the greatest, but I at least gave it my best shot. Still learning in Photoshop how to make things seem realistic. Getting better, but there is still some improvement.

Was thinking the best title that describes this photo, and what came to mind is listening to The Lion King on Broadway. The very words that in the musical that Mufasa sings to Simba when they gaze at the stars. Thought it would be appropriate for this scene. How StarClan lives inside of Firestar. All of StarClan from past, present and future.

And inspiring idea from Mizu-no-Akira for her talented skills and wonderful pieces of her warriors art.
